Athletics

Fall

NHHS students have achieved many honours in both athletics and the arts. 
• Inter-school athletic programs include: badminton, basketball, cross-country running, curling, field hockey, football, golf, hockey, mountain biking, rugby, soccer, track and field, volleyball and wrestling
• Many teams have participated and won medals and recognition at Bay of Quinte, COSSA, and OFSAA Championships. 
• Arts Activity programs such as: Art, Concert and Junior Bands, Choir, Coffee House, Drama, Improv, and Music Theatre each provide many opportunities for students to excel in their passion of the Arts. 
• In June 2004, the Town of Bancroft earned the title of “The Most Talented Town in Ontario.” The students and teachers in our Arts programs played a key role. Our students have proven to be accomplished singers, musicians, dramatic and
improvisational actors, dancers, and visual artists
• Students are encouraged to participate in Students’ Council, EarthCARE Committee, Evirothon Team, CAVEAT, and the Yearbook Committee.  They are also encouraged to continue to volunteer in the many events that occur in and around our community. 
• Teams and classes of NHHS also continue to travel extensively, provincially, nationally and international
