North Hastings High School has an active School Council that consists of parents, staff, students, and community members. Meetings are held regularly. The team works together an an advisory group to support excellent programming and to foster ongoing school improvement. Some guiding principles of the NHHS School are council are:
- Our purpose and lens is equity focused.
- When considering actions, we are primarily concerned that we are constantly striving towards increased student achievement and well-being.
- Members on the student council are responsible to the school community and have the expectation of professional, responsible communication and a high ethical standard.
